AI, applied up to everything.

I have built several companies in several industries and chased five or six billion-dollar ideas. Only the last one, Flowie, became a big success. Today I build with AI every day, talk about what actually works, sit on boards, and back small, bold teams at their first cheque.

Talks

Talks from the field, not from slides

Every talk comes from things I have shipped. Live demos, real numbers, and the failures too. In French or English.

Keynote · 45 min

AI applied to anything

How to find the 20% of a business where AI changes the economics, and how to ship it in weeks, not quarters.

Keynote · 30 min

The 5-person company

Small teams with agents now ship what took 50 people. What that does to hiring, org design and funding.

Board session · 90 min

AI for boards

The questions a board should ask about AI: risk, data, spend, and how to tell a real roadmap from a demo.

Workshop · half day

Agents in your operations

Hands-on: map one process, build a working agent on it with your team, and measure it before lunch.

Fireside · 40 min

Selling a startup in the AI era

What buyers look at now, how engineering productivity shows up in due diligence, and what I would do again.

Masterclass · 2 h

Compliance meets AI

E-invoicing, tax and regulated workflows. Where automation is safe, where it is not, and how to prove it.

Boards

A board seat that ships

I join boards and advisory committees where AI is a strategic question, not a side project. I bring an operator's view: what to build, what to buy, and what to stop.

StrategyAI roadmap that ties to margin and growth, reviewed every quarter against shipped results.
GovernanceData, security and model risk policies the team can actually follow.
M&ALived the full exit process: data room, due diligence, SPA, integration.
TalentHow to hire and organise small, AI-native teams. When not to hire at all.
Product & techFrom the code and the architecture to the product strategy: I can read a repo or a data model and still talk roadmap with a board.
NetworkFounders, operators and investors across France and Europe.

Invest

Small team. Bold bet. First cheque.

I invest my own money as a business angel, at pre-seed and seed, in any field where a few people can change how something works. I back the team first. The idea will change; the people will not.

No fund, no committee, no partners' meeting. You talk to the person who decides, and when it works I can follow on and double down in your next round.

  3. 03Phone interviewMy agent calls you for 15 minutes on the team, the why, and pressure. Agent-drafted pitches get it the same day.
  4. 04Agent to agentMy agent asks yours for the facts: metrics, repo, pipeline.
  5. 05Decision and termsA clear yes or no, with the reasons. On a yes, your agent picks the instrument that fits your stage and settles the terms inside my ranges, on the spot.

Founder first

Five or six billion-dollar ideas. One big success.

I have built several companies, in several industries, each one aimed at a billion-dollar market. Most of them did not make it. The last one, Flowie, did.

What made the difference was not the idea. It was these:

  • Executionshipping, every week
  • Trustgiven and earned
  • Teamsmall, bold, committed
  • Clientsclose, and right by default
  • Determinationwhen it looked lost
  • Focuseffort where it matters

So I know the other side of the table: the bets that fail, the ones that almost work, and what changes when one finally does. I invest the way I wish someone had invested in me on the earlier ones: in the team, early, and for the long run.

What I can bring, if you want it

You stay the founders and you run the company. None of this is a condition: it is there when you ask for it, and only then.

A challengerIf you want it, a second opinion that pushes back on the plan, the numbers and the hires. Better from me now than from the market later.
Product & techAdvice from very low level to very high when you need it: code, architecture, data and infrastructure, up to product strategy, pricing and the roadmap.
NetworkIntroductions when they help: founders, operators, investors and enterprise buyers across France and Europe, including for your next round.
StructureIf you want a hand: board rhythm, reporting, finance and legal basics, so you are ready to raise, and one day to sell.
B2BWhat I learned selling to large companies: long buying cycles, pricing, compliance. Yours to use or ignore.
Applied AII build with AI every day. Happy to share what to build, what to buy and what to skip.
Your back office, run by agentsPortfolio companies get the assets I build and run for my own companies: agents for invoicing, payments, procurement, the accounting close, legal admin and board reporting. The ones that exist today and the ones I build next. You focus on building; the back office follows.

What you get back

Every founder who pitches gets the same memo I read: scores, strengths, risks, and the three questions I will ask on the call.

See an example memo

Pitch your team

Tell me who you are, and why you can't stop

Seven short steps. Write the way you talk. Specific beats polished: one true story is worth more than a perfect market slide.

Your AI agent drafts the pitch from your docs. You review every answer and send it yourself.

Contact

Book 30 minutes with me. Your agent does the booking.

One rule: I only take meetings booked by an LLM. Ask Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or your own agent to request the slot for you, for a talk, a board role or your company, and tell it what you want to cover. It comes back with my calendar link. I keep two slots a week.

Why the rule: it takes two minutes, it shows me how you already work with AI, and it keeps my calendar for people who build with it.

No agent yet? Any LLM that can open a web page will do: copy the prompt on the right.

Privacy requests only: [email protected]

Two ways for your agent

Your agent sends me your name, email and what you want to cover, and gets the link. You pick the slot yourself.

Connect my agent

Add this MCP server as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or your own agent:

https://upto.tech/mcp

Then ask it: "Request a 30-minute meeting with Yann about …". The tool is request_meeting.

Or paste a prompt

Works with any LLM that can browse. Fill in the blanks, paste it, and it brings back the booking link.

Open https://upto.tech/llms.txt and follow its booking instructions to request a 30-minute meeting with Yann Ravel-Sibillot on my behalf.
